This project is located at Guimin Investment Headquarters Base, the core area of Wuxiang New District, Nanning, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, China. As China’s gateway to ASEAN, Nanning enjoys a booming night tourism economy. As a landmark financial and commercial complex in the area, Guimin Investment Headquarters Base sets high standards for nightscape lighting. Boasting prime riverfront views, its lighting design represents the corporate image and acts as a dazzling highlight on Nanning’s urban skyline.
Project Requirements
Matching Architectural Form: The complex consists of multiple streamlined, asymmetrical curved buildings. Lighting shall follow the structures’ curves and turns without damaging the beauty of original facades.
Multi-mode Switching: Various dynamic lighting modes are supported: pure white & blue mode for daily office use, colorful gradient mode for festivals, and regular energy-saving mode.
High Reliability: Nanning features hot and rainy weather. All outdoor luminaires shall reach IP66 or higher protection rating for stable long-term operation.
Safety & Compliance: All installation and wiring shall comply with international building electrical codes and shall not hinder routine curtain wall maintenance.
Adopting the design concept of "Light Follows Contours", the scheme uses LED Wall Washer Lights as horizontal frameworks to shape the layered silhouette of buildings, while LED Pixel Lights create vertical streamlined light strips.
Cool tones (blue and white) are applied on weekdays to deliver the tech-focused, solemn temperament of modern business. Warm tones and rainbow colors will be activated during holidays to boost urban vitality. The design achieves a dynamic visual effect — Calm as still water, agile as a roaming dragon, injecting vitality and fashion into rigid reinforced concrete buildings.
To fully display the buildings’ unique curved beauty and technological vibe, a full set of customized high-performance outdoor LED lighting products is adopted. Core equipment list:
LED Wall Washer Lights: High-power, high-efficiency linear wall washers fitted with anti-glare optical lenses. Used for horizontal light strips and bottom basic lighting to realize even color transition.
LED Pixel Lights: High-density, high-brightness pixel units installed at curtain wall joints to support delicate dynamic graphics and text display.
Intelligent Control System: Equipped with DMX512/RDM main controller and signal amplifiers to realize synchronous lighting and cluster control across different buildings.
