Guojin Building is a landmark commercial complex in the city's central district. To strengthen its nighttime identity and create a high-end, modern and technology-inspired landmark, the client commissioned a facade lighting project based on the concept of “integrating light with architecture.”
The client identified three core requirements:
High-quality lighting: The lighting requires pure color, free of light spots or dark areas, to reveal the building's original geometric lines.Flexible switching between multiple scenarios: Must support at least three lighting modes—standard daily mode, holiday/celebration mode, and energy-saving midnight mode—with smooth, natural transitions.Long lifespan and low operation and maintenance: Since the building height exceeds 100 meters, the subsequent maintenance costs are extremely high, so there are strict requirements for the dustproof and waterproof level and light decay index of the lamps.Lighting strategy—linear arrays + dynamic colour:
Facade definition: Continuous LED windowsill-light bands emphasise verticality and depth; alternating cool white and deep blue creates a refined corporate character.
Thematic colour: RGB mixing and dynamic colour sequences support festivals and special events.
Precise glare control: Calculated beam angles cover the windowsills accurately, limiting upward spill, light pollution and glare to nearby motorists.
High-efficacy, high-CRI windowsill lights installed on every floor provide uniform, uninterrupted illumination. Weatherproof power supplies and intelligent controls support reliable outdoor operation and coordinated control by mobile app or central control room.
After completion, the building's facade is illuminated by brilliant lighting. Not only is the logo on the roof clearly visible, but the building's vertical lines are perfectly accentuated by LED windowsill lights, creating a striking visual feature along the city's main thoroughfare.
