The project is located at the Jincheng Cultural and Art Center in the hinterland of Shanxi Province, an outstanding representative of modern architectural aesthetics. Situated in the bustling central urban area of Jincheng, the Jincheng Cultural and Art Center is surrounded by dense residential quarters and commercial blocks. As a core public facility for citizens, the building features a distinctive stepped Chinese-style antique roof structure integrated with modern glass curtain walls. The lighting project aims to highlight the architectural layered texture and create a warm and festive atmosphere for the spacious civic square nearby, striving to turn the building into a "city parlor".
The owner and the architectural design team have set extremely stringent requirements for the lighting of this project:Architectural Expression: Lighting must respect and highlight the integration of traditional roofs and modern glass facades without stealing the spotlight.Energy Saving and Long Service Life: In view of the project scale, all luminaires shall feature high luminous efficacy and achieve a service life of over 50,000 hours to reduce subsequent maintenance costs.Dynamic Control: The lighting system must support complex color chasing, gradient transitions and switching of festival modes.Harmonious Environment: Light pollution must be strictly controlled. Lighting shall avoid glare, be pedestrian and vehicle-friendly, and ensure safety and comfort for adjacent plazas and roadways.Inspired by crape myrtle flowers, the lighting design integrates architectural concepts, cultural essence and value significance into one cohesive whole. From an aerial perspective, the Culture and Art Center resembles not only a fully blooming crape myrtle flower but also a gigantic "vessel of time" sailing between heaven and earth, bearing the mission to leave a lasting legacy for generations.
Centered on "Chinese civilization", the overall lighting design adopts light to showcase the core ideas of each chapter. Through the language of light, it interprets the course of civilization and the spirit of culture. Extensive and profound, Chinese civilization has been passed down and evolved to this day, forming a perfect resonance with the spiritual core of art and culture.
To achieve the precise color effects and structural highlighting specified in the design requirements, the project adopts the following high-performance outdoor lighting fixtures.
High-power LED Wall Washer Lights: Installed in vertical grooves of buildings to illuminate glass curtain walls evenly.
