The Loudi Marriott City Plaza project covers a total land area of 45,000 square meters and a total construction area of 368,000 square meters. As a core local commercial complex, it integrates high‑end hotels, large‑scale shopping malls and high‑rise residential buildings, and undertakes multiple functions including regional consumption, leisure and urban landscape display.
In this night‑view lighting project for the commercial complex, the client's core requirements are:
Enhance Brand Image: Highlight the value of the hotel brand and the commercial complex.
Create a Visual Landmark: Form a distinctive urban skyline at night.
Energy‑Saving and Sustainability: Strictly control energy consumption while ensuring high‑quality lighting effects, and adopt high‑efficiency outdoor LED luminaires.
DMX512 Intelligent Control and Multi‑mode Switching: Meet lighting mode requirements for different scenarios such as ordinary days, festivals and major events.
Based on the core requirements of the project, we take into account the attributes and architectural features of the commercial complex as well as existing pain points to provide the property owner with professional design solutions. Under the illumination of LED Wall Washer Lights, the top glows with dazzling gold. The main facade is decorated with LED Pixel Lights to deliver a strong futuristic vibe. Transformed at night, Marriott Plaza has become the most stunning landmark in Loudi after dark. The entire building complex resembles a golden lighthouse, perfectly integrating commercial vitality with urban lighting. Our comprehensive design solution impressed the property owner, securing both the lighting engineering contract and product supply for this project, and delivering a flawless on‑site implementation outcome.
According to the optical requirements for different parts of the building, the following core lighting fixtures are selected:
High‑Power LED Wall Washer Lights: Illuminate the top of the building to create a golden glowing cornice, highlighting the building’s premium feel against the night sky. The fixtures feature excellent heat dissipation performance and IP66‑rated waterproofing, making them suitable for all kinds of harsh weather conditions.
Customized LED Pixel Lights: Applied to vertical lines on the building facade, they support the DMX512 protocol to enable programming for personalized dynamic light shows. They deliver programmable smooth color transitions and dynamic flowing‑light effects, endowing the building with vitality.
High‑Output LED Flood Lights: Used for floodlighting of low‑rise sections. Calculated via Dialux simulation and equipped with multi‑angle light distribution, they achieve even and soft floodlighting effects for the podium building, boosting the commercial atmosphere and attracting pedestrian traffic on the ground level.
Supporting Control System: Intelligent lighting control box and linkage sequencer to realize one‑click switching of scene modes.
